We don't often get a glimpse of Jack sleeping. He was sent home with a fever yesterday, but otherwise he seems perfectly fine. I did have to wake him up from his nap to go see the doctor, so I thought I would take advantage of this moment to take a picture of my sweet boy. Jack checked out alright. This was Jack's last nap in the nursery. It is time for his new room.
Today was the STS-115 launch. Jack was playing with his little space shuttle and decided to park it next to his other vehicles at the front door. It was very cute.
We got a new sand and water table. Jack didn't exactly play with it as we expected, although we should have expected it. He loved to scoop the water out and scoop sand into the water side of the table. He wanted to take all of the parts from the water side and put them in the sandy side. He even tried a taste of sand and then came to Mommy to fix it. There wasn't much I could do about that!
Today we went to Daisy's first birthday party at Moody Gardens. We got a behind the scenes look at this great penguin named Biggio. We had lots of fun!
Today we went to visit Jack's Great Grandpa across town. Jack read some books with Nana, played on the chairs with Papa, and shook hands with Great Grandpa.
We are working on our collection of backyard toys and Jack loves being outside. Here he is in his kiddie pool playing with a set of measuring cups. The other pictures are of a slide that Daddy put together today.
We went to the Children's Museum with Grandma today and had a great time. In the tot spot, Jack played with puzzles and lots of other fun stuff. There was a room with a great little car in it. It also had the cute little blond girl who played with Jack a little bit.
Jenny, Emma, and Daisy stopped by today to drop off Nissan, their cat, for us to petsit for a couple of weeks while they go to England. Emma was very entertained by Jack and he was entertained by her as well.
