June 24th - More playtime
The older kids were very cute with their young cousins. When we were at dinner, every time Camilla walked past Charlie's high chair, she would give him back the toys he dropped and rub his cheek softly with the back of her fingers. Later, she would give him kisses all over his head. When Violet was playing on the floor, Jack would duck under the playmat toy arches and kiss Violet – on her head, on her belly and on her mouth (eek!).
June 24th - Charlie's baptism
Charlie was baptized this morning. Leslie and Daniel are his godparents, which is why we were blessed with their visit. Charlie did a great job. Another little girl was baptized first, so Ronny told Jack that Charlie was going to be baptized next. When Charlie was getting baptized, Jack said, "Jack's turn. Jack's turn."
We just had to get a picture of the entire Baccus family together. The last picture we have like this is from Thanksgiving two and a half years ago when Jack was one month old and Camilla was just a year old. It was a challenge to get a shot without someone crying, but we did.

June 23rd - Video - Jack in the saucer
When we were getting ready for our visitors, Jack climbed into the baby saucer and started jumping around. Charlie thought it was hilarious, which made Jack keep jumping and jumping. Later, Jack would drag the saucer around the house to wherever Charlie was to entertain him.

June 23rd - Video - A new game
Daniel taught us a new game to play while swinging. It sure made the kids giggle.

June 8th - Making a dent
After the shuttle launch tonight, we went upstairs to get the boys ready for bed. When Jack was running towards Charlie’s room, his feet slipped and he fell. His forehead rammed into the corner of the wall right outside Charlie’s room. Immediately, a big area about ¾ of an inch wide and 2 inches long turned purple and swelled out about a half inch. It looked awful. Jack screamed and cried. Ronny grabbed our “church bag” of books and headed to the emergency room. I fed Charlie, waited for Grandma to show up, packed up more entertainment and went to join Ronny and Jack.
There were lots of people in the ER already and by the time I got there, Jack hadn’t even been seen by the triage nurse. We didn’t get a room for a couple of house and didn’t see the doctor for a while after that. Dr. Vincent was the pediatric doc there. He is the same doc we have seen for Jack’s other two ER visits. He remembered sewing up Jack’s mouth a few months ago. We also recognized one of the nurses and the lady who helped us at reception. I do hope we don’t become regulars.
Since Jack didn’t pass out or vomit and he was acting like himself, Dr. Vincent really wasn’t worried. He said that he has a dent in his house from his little boy too.
It is hard to entertain a toddler for 4 hours in the emergency room. Last time it was 6 hours and we came from work so all I had was some stickers and crayons in my purse. Is it a bad sign when they have novels in the waiting room instead of magazines? Anyway, this time we came prepared. We had books, his doctor kit, a Doodle Pro, toys, and a personal DVD player with the Wiggles playing. We also took several laps around the waiting room practicing using "our walking feet". We need to start doing that at home apparently too.
June 2nd - Crazy boys
I brought home a new airplane shirt and Jack decided he wanted to wear it. He took off his shirt and put on this one. It is a little big, but he will grow into it, I'm sure.
Boys in a box. These are our living room toy boxes. Jack loves to sit in them. Charlie fits pretty well too. Jack is holding his "seven forty forty" that Grandma got for him.

May 28th - Charlie & Grandma
May 26th - Dr. Jack
Jack got a doctor kit from his Aunt Melanie for Christmas and he loves it. He had to give Charlie a check up and check out his own heart as well. You might notice his shirt is on backwards. He often asks to wear his NASA meatball shirts that Grandma gives him. Today he demanded to wear this one and wanted it on backwards so he could see the rocket. Funny kid!
May 23rd - Zombie baby
