October 29th - NASA Fall Children's Party

Tonight we got the boys all dressed up for the NASA Fall Children's Party. It was held at Space Center Houston. We had a great time.

October 28th - Pumpkin carving

Today Jack and Ronny carved our pumpkins. OK, well Jack watched while Ronny carved the pumpkin. Jack didn't like how the pumpkin gook felt. It started out looking kind of scary, but Ronny modified it to be a happy Jack-o-lantern.



Someone stole Grandma's water. After drinking (and backwashing in) most of what was left, he coyly looked at Grandma and asked, "Where'd your water go?" Hmmm... I wonder. :)

October 27th - The birthday party

Today was Jack and Charlie's birthday party. We had the party at Monkey N Around, which is a local kiddo play area. Lots of friends came to play and share our special day.

October 26th - More fun

Jack was crashed out on the floor and Charlie came over to crawl on top of him.


My baby is starting to look like a little boy.

Grandma brought this cool little camera for the boys. Jack was taking a picture of me while I took a picture of him.

October 25th - Grandma is here

Grandma is here for a visit and gave Jack this awesome tool bench for his birthday. You use the tools that come with the set to build it, which Jack loved doing.




Grandma has also been taking the boys on lots of walks around the neighborhood to find all of the neat Halloween decorations.

October 23rd - Happy Birthday Jack!

This is the first cool weather week of the year. He picked out an old favorite outfit to wear.



I brought ice cream cups to have with brownies for snack time. The kids all sang him "Happy Birthday" and thoroughly enjoyed the snack. Well, except Lincoln, who doesn't like sweets. I told him that next time I would bring him some broccoli. He got all excited, "Oooh, broccoli!"

After snack time was story time and then all the kids went to play outside.

A big buck stopped by to wish Jack a Happy Birthday too.

Jack opened his presents after dinner. He loves this puzzle that came from Holly, Ryan, and Espen.

Nothing like a sugar high before bedtime.

October 20th - The best pets we ever had

When Jack was a baby, Ronny commented that he was the best pet we ever had. Now we have two. :)

October 13 - Our first Fall Festival

Today we went to the Fall Festival at the pumpkin church. We rode on a little train, visited the petting zoo, Jack had a snow cone, and we came home with a couple of cute little pumpkins.
