Whenever Charlie sees someone go upstairs or outside, he will go sit in front of the gate or the door and block the person from returning. He finds it pretty entertaining.

July 26th
July 26th - A trip to the zoo
Ah, a nice mid-summer trip to the zoo. The temperature wasn't too bad when we got there, but we were roasting by the time we left. It made our treat of "Ice Cream of the Future" even sweeter.
The picture below is right before Charlie did a great flip over the fence. He flipped around enough to land on his back instead of his head and the fence was low enough that he didn't get hurt. But that was the end of our fence climbing for the day.

Jack was interested in seeing the carousel, but then didn't want to go on. Charlie and I had a nice time.
July 25th - Hat day
July 19th - The Greatest Show on Earth
Today we went to the circus with about 20 of our closest friends - Mitchell's, Kouba's, Jacob's, Madsen's, and Siekierski's. Jack was a little concerned about the noise, but he was fine as long as Ronny plugged his ears for a while. I had a blast sitting next to Emma. It was like old times. We had great time, although Emma wasn't convinced that it was really the greatest show on earth. Funny girl!
July 15th - The Naughty Spot
As soon as I threaten to put Jack in the naughty spot, Charlie runs to get there first. He is such a little rascal. It drives Jack CRAZY to have Charlie in the naughty spot with him, but I just figure it is part of his punishment. You can see the big smile in Charlie's eyes as Jack is expressing his displeasure. Then Jack tries to push him out, but that just makes Charlie smile even more.

July 5th - New bike
July 4th - Happy Independence Day!
We had a great weekend and a wonderful fourth. We participated in our neighborhood bike parade in the morning, went swimming at the Hu's house, and then participated in the Nassau Bay festivities in the evening. We met with Uncle Sam, played at the playground, ran up and down the hill, jumped in the bounce house, and then watched the fireworks when it got dark.
