December 25th - Merry Christmas

Christmas day is pretty mellow for us. The kids played with their new toys and we took the boys to see the movie Tangled. It was Charlie's first movie and it was really good! We all loved it. On the way home, I drove through Bloomington - my home town. I showed the boys where I learned to ski and Jack asked if we could do that tomorrow. Maybe next year...

December 24th - Christmas Eve

We open our presents on Christmas Eve and we had a lot of fun doing it. Charlie fell asleep early again, so it was up to Jack and Espen to sprinkle the special reindeer food (glittery oats) out in the snow and leave cookies and milk for Santa.

December 23rd - The Zoo

Today we went to the Minnesota Zoo. We alternated inside and outside activities so we didn't get too cold. The boys would stick their hands in the snow and then complain that they were cold and wet, but that wouldn't stop them from doing it again and again.

December 22nd - Snow day

Today we had a great day playing in the snow and decorating gingerbread houses.

December 21st - The Mall of America

Today was Toddler Tuesday at the Mall of America. We watched the Grinch cartoon and got to meet the Grinch. Doesn't Charlie look thrilled? Jack ran right up and hugged him. We grabbed some lunch at CRAVE and then Grandma took Josie home for a nap while we took the boys to Nickelodeon Universe to go on the rides. Overall we had fun, although each boy had a ride that they didn't ride because they got grumpy. Each boy had a roller coaster that they loved and each had a roller coaster that they hated. Fun stuff!

December 20th - He's making a list...

Jack decided that Santa needed a little help, so he made a good list and a naughty list. Surprisingly, the only person on the naughty list was little brother Charlie.

December 19th

Our first morning in Minnesota, the boys just had to play outside even though it was 8 degrees. They didn't care. They were having a great time and Ronny had to trick them to get them back inside. Later we went to a Christmas party at my relatives.
