December 28th - Quite a serene scene

This is the scene I found when I finished getting ready this morning and went to find my boys. They were both sound asleep in the nursery. Charlie was sleeping in the swing and Ronny was crashed on the daybed - hugging a big stuffed snake. :)

December 27th - Cowboy Jack

December 26th - Sweet Charlie

December 25th - Merry Christmas

We had a nice relaxing Christmas - well, as relaxing as life can be with an infant and a toddler. :)

December 23rd - Another day of celebration

After a late evening of fun with the Baccus family, we trekked to the other side of Houston. Jack and Camilla snuck in some last minute playtime before we left. Then we headed out to visit their great grandpa, which was fun. There is a big aquarium in the nursing home where he lives and we took many trips down the hall to visit the fish. The ladies in the home loved seeing Jack every time he passed by. After the visit, we went to a baby shower for Stephen and Doris. There we found out they are going to be moving to Houston because Stephen got a job at JSC. Yippee!!!

December 22nd - Jack and his presents

Jack got some great presents - here is a sampling: a doctors set from Melanie, a great dinosaur chair from his grandparents, and a JACKhammer from Leslie, Daniel, and Camilla. Fun!

December 22nd - Christmas with the Baccus family

We hosted the Baccus family Christmas party today. Jack and Camilla had fun playing together. It was really good to see everyone!

December 19th - Smiley baby

Charlie is 6 weeks old and is much more aware of his surroundings. His neck control is getting better and he smiles when he looks at people now. He is also starting to coo as well.

December 19th - New haircut

Jack got a new haircut this past weekend. Compare it to his party picture below. To us, he looks like a different kid. It took us a few days to get used to it.

December 15th - Another party for Jack

Jack's school had a Christmas party on Friday. The parents brought lots of snacks for the kids to eat. Jack loved his cookie and shoved a huge piece in his mouth. Santa came too, but with the chaos of kids and parents swarming around, Jack wasn't too keen on sitting on his lap.

December 8th - Visiting Santa

We took the boys to visit Santa today. We couldn't quite get a smile out of Jack, but he enjoyed seeing Santa. Charlie was is much the same state as Jack two years ago. You can see how Jack has changed over the last two years. Santa looks exactly the same.

December 3rd - Christmas Remembered

Every year, our church has an open house called Christmas Remembered. Every year it seems to get bigger and better. There is snow outside for the kids, a petting zoo, a live nativity, face painting, Christmas carol karaoke, lots of crafts for the kids (ornament making, cookie decorating, etc.), lots of homemade Christmas cookies, and live music everywhere. We had lots of fun.

December 3rd - Charlie

December 2nd - Party #2

The second party of the three we went to was at 3pm. We had a gift exchange for adults and for the kids. We ran ourselves ragged trying to keep Jack out of trouble and take care of Charlie as well. The third party was in the evening. It was adults-only and Grandma babysat - thank goodness! Since the kids weren't there, I don't have any pictures to post of that party.

December 2nd - Party #1

Today we had three Christmas parties to go to. The first party was at 10am. Santa flew into Ellington Field in a T-38 and gave out presents to all of the good boys and girls - including Jack and Charlie. It was a fun party with lots of kids.
