June 15th - Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day we went out to visit Nana and Papa and the entire Baccus-Hope clan in New Ulm, Texas. (That's pronounced New Ulum for you Minnesota readers.) We had a great time in their brand new house. I think the kids carved a path in the new wood floor running around the house. Camilla and Jack were a daring duo and Charlie was already getting edged out of the big-kid play. Don't worry Charlie! Soon you and Violet will be plotting against them! We all had a great time. Thanks Nana and Papa!

June 15th - Dinosaurs

We bought a full array of different dinosaurs and everyone had fun playing with them. Charlie toyed with them a bit, but it was the naked Barbie that he carried around most of the day. Even Melanie joined in the fun with a clothed Barbie taking a dino ride. The winner, though, was Camilla, who had Barbie breastfeeding a dinosaur.

June 15th - Funny faces

It is a good thing Leslie can count on her big brother to be a good influence on his neice Camilla.

June 15th - All of the kids

We got some good pictures of the kids. It is funny how quickly they move around. Ronny saved the day with a quick catch of Violet (picture 4). The last picture actually turned out pretty well.

June 15th - Horse & Donkey

After lunch, we had a visit with the neighbor's horse and donkey. The horse was happy to be hand-fed apple pieces, but the donkey kept his distance. Charlie talked about the donkey for the rest of the day.

June 14th - Hat and shuttle landing

Charlie loves this shower cap. He always wants to put it on saying, "hat hat!"

We don't know how we missed watching the shuttle launch, but we all watched the landing. :)

June 12th - The nuturing type

Charlie put this dinosaur on the seat of our airplane ride-on toy and pushed him around the house. Then he decided that the ride must have made the dinosaur thirsty, so he treated him to some milk. Eventually the dinosaur ended up sitting in the high chair.

June 8th

The boys got new spray bottles for "Splash Day" at school. I guess they are the PC version of squirt guns. They were having fun spraying themselves and everyone else.

May 31st - New Booster Seat

Jack got a couple of new booster seats. I'm not sure what the boys had more fun playing with - the seats or the boxes.
