June 3rd - Jack's graduation

Today Jack had his preschool graduation. He wore a cap and gown and everything. He got a diploma and his class even performed a couple of songs for the audience.

Jack's a bit of a ladies' man.

Don't let the earlier picture fool you, Sami is his only girlfriend.

Here are the youngest siblings.

Here are the younger siblings. There were at least 5 kids from Charlie's class at the ceremony.

A rare picture of the whole family.

May 29th - Our trip to Austin

This weekend we went to Austin to attend the funeral of my Dad's cousin. Although the event was unfortunate, it was good to see some relatives that we hadn't seen in ages and introduce them to our crazy kids. We also had the opportunity to visit with Leslie and her family. It was nice to visit at a time when we weren't fleeing a hurricane. We got to see their new house and then we went to Phil's Icehouse and Amy's ice cream, which has a great playground outside. It was a great time.

May 29th - Grandparents, just don't even look

Through a recent Facebook post, our friend Ali introduced us to a new sport - hotel bed jumping. Doesn't she have good form? On our trip to Austin, we just couldn't help ourselves and we had to try it out. We haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

May 23rd - Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Having a bad hair day on her birthday. :)

Story time with Nana.

The boys were more than happy to help Josie unwrap her presents.

Out little princess even has a tiara.

Josie got a sweet new doll.

Nana helped Josie with her new piggy bank.

Daddy loves being a princess too.

Jack and Charlie were clowns with the frosting.

Josie loved the frosting too.

Time to relax after a fun birthday celebration.

May 17th - Swimming lessons

This spring the boys took a few sessions of swimming lessons at the Williams Indoor Pool.

May 15th - SH2K at Zone 504

Today was the 9th anniversary of our first date. We celebrated by going to dinner at a little Greek restaurant called the Bakkhus Tavern, which happened to be right around the corner from Zone 504, which is where Ronny's band was playing a bit later in the evening. We stayed out way past our bedtime and had a great time.

May 9th - Happy Mother's Day

May 8th - A day in the country

We went to visit Nana and Papa for a little early Mother's Day visit. We met for a nice lunch in Brenham and then went back to New Ulm for a little kite flying.
