April 30th - Nation Space Trophy Dinner

Tonight we went to our annual black tie event - the National Space Trophy Dinner. We had a lovely evening with Jenny and Ian and about 800 other aerospace industry workers. Emma and Daisy came over to hang out with the Baccus kids. Emma, who is 10, is a babysitter-in-training and did a wonderful job with the kids. Apparently Josie just loved her and Jack wanted to talk with her constantly. When we got home, there were sticker charts for the kids and a status report. She's hired!

April 29th - Butterfly field trip

Today Charlie went on a field trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. They have been studying butterflies at school, so they went through the butterfly exhibit and watched a 3D IMAX about bugs. Grandma got to go with Charlie and took some great pictures.

April 24th - Happy Birthday Grandma!

Josie spends a lot of time on the bottom step. She likes to step up and slide her feet off - physics experiments in gravity and friction.

I can't remember why Charlie was so grumpy, but I love this picture.

This was Josie's first cupcake experience. She did a pretty awesome job with the frosting.

April 20th - Balloon release

Charlie's class had a balloon release at school. (Thanks to Jen M for the pictures.)
