May 25th - Joe, the Albino Burmese Python

May 25th - Charlie and the girls

Charlie was thrilled to see his buddy Ava from school. He also had fun with Daisy and Emma.

May 25th - Jenny's Snake Party

Jenny had a Snake Party for her birthday with the Texas Snake Guy. He brought 8 different snakes for us to pass around and learn about.

This is Blaze, a Motley Albino Corn Snake. Isn't she pretty?

Jack wasn't very fond of the snakes, but at the end of the party I did get Jack the boy to touch Jack the Louisiana Milk Snake.

May 17th

Charlie is starting to understand what is going on when Jack is on the potty, so I've started to sit him on the potty every now and then. He hasn't been successful yet, but enjoys the books.

Jack lines up all of the ride on toys, but then of course didn't want anyone to move or play with them. Fat chance!

Ah, another box to play in. At first, they played pretty well, but Jack didn't really appreciate Charlie sitting on his head.

May 15th - Ponies

The teachers in Charlie's class sometimes put ponytails in the girls' hair and lately the boys have been asking for ponies too. "Ponies, ponies!" Too funny!

May 11th - Happy Mother's Day

Hope everyone had a good Mother's Day! The boys played well together today - inside and out. And the whole family enjoyed Mommy's present - a nice covered swing for the backyard.

May 9th - South Plains College Distinguished Alumni

Ronny went out to Levelland for a couple of days. He was being recognized as a distinguished alumnus at South Plains College. He was recognized first at a dinner banquet and then during the commencement ceremony. Unfortunately, the boys and I were unable to go with Ronny, but we were with him in spirit.

May 3rd

The boys have been playing nicely together lately. Jack found this hat that he got as a baby present years ago. He wore it for a while and then decided it was time for Charlie to wear it. The boys look out the window all the time to check if the neighbors dogs are outside.
