March 24th - NASA Spring Fling

On Saturday we went to NASA's Spring Fling Childrens Party. They had an Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, pony rides, pictures on a cow, balloon animals, face painting, and a great goodie bag.

March 21st - Starving Charlie

We are apparently starving Charlie as he has taken to eating his toys.

March 20th - The Eagle has landed and Ronny's inside

Ronny got the very cool opportunity to climb around the Apollo capsule at Space Center Houston.

March 11th - A fun day

March 11th - Charlie's first solid food

Today we fed Charlie some rice cereal for the first time. He seemed to like it. He would dive at the spoon.

March 8th - Potty time

This morning Jack pee'd on the potty for the first time. Yippee! He was a bit restless, so we read books while we were waiting to keep him occupied.

March 3rd - Sick this weekend

February 26th - Family flying

February 25th - Nana and Papa visit

February 24th - Tigger jumper

February 22nd - Finding the thumb

Charlie has been finding his thumb lately - hallelujah! It means that he sometimes sleeps longer than 35 minutes, although still not very regularly. Hopefully this will help him sleep through the night soon too!

February 21st - Feeding baby

This morning Jack wanted to play with his baby so he sat up in the rocking chair and asked for the boppy pillow. I asked if he was going to feed the baby and this is what he did.

February 19th - A visit to the zoo

Monday was a school and work holiday so we went to the zoo. We had a great time and saw lots of great animals. We saw flamingos, antelopes, zebras, a rhinoceros, turkeys, otters, deer, porcupines, an eagle, tropical birds, a raccoon, prairie dogs, Atwater prairie chickens, ducks, llamas, cows, a pig, goats, elephants, giraffes, koalas, lions, meercats, and many more animals I can’t remember the names of.

February 19th - Bedtime for baby

Jack has enjoyed playing in our bed lately. We pretend to sleep and he yells “Wake up Mommy” or Wake up Daddy!” just like they yell “Wake up Jeff!” on "The Wiggles" - a TV show that Jack loves. We read a book with a one-eyed monster that falls asleep and he yells “Wake up monster!” Last night we were reading a book called “Away in a Manger” which reads through the song lyrics. Partway through the book he yelled, “Wake up Jesus!” We just cracked up!

February 11th - One or the other

I can get one boy smiling at a time, but I can’t get a picture with both of them smiling. They are cute nonetheless.

February 11th - Cool dude

Jack has enjoyed putting his sunglasses on lately. More often than not, he puts them on upside down. We tell him he looks like a cool dude.

February 11th

Jack took a couple of Charlie’s new fuzzy socks out of the hamper and put them on his hands. Then he took the lingerie laundry bag that I wash all the baby socks in and put it on his head. It is a nice look, isn’t it?

February 10th - Bath time and bed time

We tried giving the boys a bath at the same time tonight. It was cute, but Charlie just isn’t quite ready yet. We will likely wait until he can sit up on his own before trying a dual bath again.

February 10th - Sesame Street Live

We went to go see Sesame Street Live, Elmo Makes Music today with Jack. It was good fun. After the intermission, Burt came out for a disco number in a white suit like John Travolta. A bunch of characters danced to “Do the Hustle” and then Burt did a Saturday Night Fever solo to the Bee Gees. It was very cute.

February 10th - Motor skills

Charlie has been working on his gross and fine motor skills. His trunk muscles are getting a workout staying upright in the saucer, although a couple of blankets help him out. His fine motor skills are getting a workout as he tried to grab the toys around the saucer.

February 10th - Where'd Grandma Go?

Jack loves to wear our shoes around the house including my fuzzy pink slippers. This morning, he grabbed his step stool and took it to the front door. He looked out the window saying, “Where’d Grandma go?”
