December 26th - MN Trip Day 8

It was another beautiful day in Minnesota. It has been snowing almost every day here. The snow was piled up on all of the tree branches - so pretty!

When Charlie was down for his morning nap, we made a gingerbread train. Jack put a few pieces of candy on the train, but most of it went straight into his mouth.

Ronny wasn't so happy with the structural stability of the train engine design.

Ronny put frosting and candies on Jack's hand thinking that he would have fun eating them off, but instead he fed some to Ronny and wanted the other wiped off. Funny kid.

After two 10-minute stints outside earlier in our trip, Jack finally discovered the joy of outside play in the wintertime. He stayed outside for quite a while and we even took a walk around the neighborhood. What he really loved, though, is eating the snow. Ronny would make him a snow patty that he would hold and eat as he walked.

Jack got this awesome set of dinosaurs from Grandma for Christmas. Out of the blue, he will yell, "It is dinosaur time!!!" Funnier still, the other day I hear, "Charlie's eating the Parasauralophus!" It is always funny to hear your 3-year-old shout out a six-syllable dinosaur name.
